He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Belanger and Rita Guilbeault (Belanger); his siblings, Gloria Belanger, Pauline Jean and Normand Belanger (Linda); and his siblings-in-law, Lorraine Blanchette (Roger) and Arthur Lagasse (Elaine).
He is survived by: his wife Claire Belanger (Lagasse); his children, David (Cynthia), Michael (Erica) and Deborah (April Adams); his grandchildren, Joseph, Emily, Jean-Frederic, Jaques and Sheamus (Isabella); and his siblings-in-law, Jeannine Turgeon, Armand Lagasse (Sylvia) and Albert Jean. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
