He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell W. DeCarteret and Marion G. DeCarteret (Akins); his nibling Conor Begley; his in-law Christos Brustas; Marilyn Kidd, Donald DeCarteret and Curtis Guild.
He is survived by: his wife Harriet DeCarteret (Brustas); his children, Bronson DeCarteret of Tyngsborough, Rachel DeCarteret of Tyngsborough and Julie Czelewicz of Lowell; his grandchildren, Brooke, Alexis, Jessica, Kirk Jr., Nicholas and Evin; his great grandchildren, Isaiah, Oaklyn and Westin; his sisters, Constance Peredina and Diane DeCarteret; his nieces and nephews, Jennifer Brugos, Donna Cullen, Billy Peredina, Curtis Peredina, Billy Kidd, Michael Begley, Christopher Brustas, Michael Brustas, Patrick Brustas and Alexander Brustas; his in-laws, Lewis, Nancy Brustas and Deb; his former wife JoAnn Morrissey; and his pet Sebastian. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
