He is survived by: his son Shawn Mahoney of Dracut; his former wife Sandy Duncan (Pirello); his siblings, Jennifer Brum (Joe), Laura A. Corcoran (Mahoney) and Patrick Mahoney (Martha); his sister-in-law Louise Mahoney; his nieces and nephews, Colleen Corcoran, Joseph Corcoran, Richard Mahoney, Olivia Blatus and Cam Brum; his great-nephew Mason; and his great-niece Nora.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the McDonough Funeral Home (14 Highland St, Lowell, MA 01852). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
