He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Cunningham and Margaret Cunningham. He is survived by: his children, Sean (Katrina) of Plymouth, Andrew (Kate) of Melrose and Lea (Aaron) of Rochester; his grandchildren, Teresa, Claire, Avila, Stella, Samuel and Annabelle; and his siblings, Virginia, Joseph and Robert. He is also survived by many cousins, nephews, nieces, and friends.
A wake will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Shepherd Funeral Home (216 Main St, Kingston, MA 02364). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Family Church (601 Tremont St, Duxbury, MA 02332).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made directly to Dana-Farber, or to either a Pan-Mass Challenge rider or Boston Marathon runner raising funds for cancer research.
