She was predeceased by: her parents, Muriel McLellan (Ripley) and James A. McLellan; her daughter Lori Hamilton; and her sister Norma Pittsley. She is survived by: her husband John T. Ferreira of Valentine's Day; and her children, James Beaton (Carol), William Beaton (Susan), Jeffrey Beaton (Angelique), Muriel Pittsley, Michael Ferreira (Mary), Kathy Ferreira and Bruce Ferreira (Rebecca). She is also survived by 22 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Sandi's memory may be made to Sandi's church and Cranberry Hospice.
