He was predeceased by: his wife Lorraine Hurley (Sinatra); and his siblings, John, Thomas, Mark and Francis Hurley.
He is survived by: his daughters, Linda McCormack (late Brian) of Revere and Paula Ligotti (late Joseph Jr.) of Tewksbury; his brothers, Patrick Hurley of New Hampshire and James Hurley of Maine; his grandchildren, Anthony Ligotti, Francesca Ligotti and Andrew McCormack; and his close friend Susan Craig.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ruggiero Family Memorial (971 Saratoga St, Boston, MA 02128). A memorial gathering was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at the same location. A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Church (45 Brooks St, Boston, MA 02128). A committal service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Puritan Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery (185 Lake St, Peabody, MA 01960).
