He was predeceased by: his mother Ethel Derby (Greer); and his brothers, Walter Derby, David Derby and Arthur Derby. He is survived by: his friend Louie; his wife Christine Derby (Walsh); his daughter Meghan Derby; and his child-in-law Ryan Johnston.
