He was predeceased by: his parents, Wayne Kennedy and Lillian Mae Kennedy (Barrett); his sibling Chris Kennedy; and his sibling's child Andrea Kydd. He is survived by: his children, Alyssa Disario (Michael) of Woburn and Lynn Kennedy of California; his grandson Dominic Disario; his sister Beth Andersen (late Dick); his cousins, Patti Kennedy, Dick Power and Priscilla Promise; and his sibling's children, Jeffrey Boujoulian, Tara Boujoulian and Jessica Stevens.
