He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor H. Allen and Agnes V. Allen (Carlson); and his sister Charlotte Griswold. He is survived by: his wife Janet E. Allen (Elliott); his stepchildren, Richard Thrasher Jr. of Halifax, Kathleen McLaughlin (Michael) of Brockton, Diane Seay of Brockton and Janet Lawson of Avon; and his brother Edward Allen of Florida. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
