He was predeceased by: his parents, James A. Winters and Emma Winters; and his brother Jimmy Winters. He is survived by: his wife Connie Winters; his daughters, Laura Salvaggio and Emily Winters; his sons-in-law, Bernie Salvaggio III and Matthew Gibeault; and his grandson Bernie Salvaggio IV.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the East Brookfield Baptist Church (262 E Main St, East Brookfield, MA 01515). The military honors was held on Wednesday, August 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Walnut Grove Cemetery.
