Michael Delaney Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Michael Delaney of East Dennis, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 18, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Delaney and Margaret Farrell Delaney of Plymouth Twp; his siblings, Anne Chapin, Joseph Delaney and William Delaney; his nephews, Patrick Delaney and Butch Delaney; and his great-nephew Cliff Spencer.
He is survived by: his wife Jacqueline "Jackie" Delaney; and his siblings, Margaret "Peggy" Magagna of Swoyersville, PA and Robert Delaney of New Port Richey, Florida. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
Viewing will be held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hugh B. Hughes Funeral Home (1044 Wyoming Ave, Kingston, PA 18704). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church (116 Hughes St, Swoyersville, PA 18704).
In lieu of flowers, monetary donations may be made to Traditional Hospice of Dunmore, PA or to the Medical Oncology Associates Prescription Assistance Fund, 382 Pierce Street, Kingston, PA 18704.
