Barbara A. Aiken Obituary
We bid farewell to Barbara A. Aiken of East Longmeadow, Massachusetts, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on June 20, 2025 at the age of 90. Barbara touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her siblings, William, Raymond, Jerrold Aiken, David Aiken, Allan Aiken and Joan Ross of Springfield; and her parents, William J. Aiken and Hazel Aiken (Slate).
She is survived by: her sons, Loren J. Smith, Harold L. Ridings, Jr. and Phillip C. Ridings; and her sisters, Jackie of Belchertown and Cheryl Aiken of Belchertown. She is also survived by her several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Varnum Funeral Home (43 E Main St, West Brookfield, MA 01585). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Oak Grove Cemetery (426 Bay St, Springfield, MA 01109).
