Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Claudia DeSantis (East Longmeadow, Massachusetts), who passed away at the age of 72, on September 25, 2025. She was predeceased by: her parents, Amedeo Botta and Camilla Botta (Calabrese). She is survived by: her husband Pasquale DeSantis; her children, Assunta "Sue" Guimaraes (Joe) and Lazzaro "Reno" DeSantis; her grandsons, Marco, Anthony and Franco Guimaraes; and her siblings, Roberto Botta (Carmella), Genesio Botta (Maria) and Linda Montefusco (Vincenzo). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 29th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Forastiere Smith Funeral & Cremation (220 N Main St, East Longmeadow, MA 01028). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM and at 12:00 PM.
Memorial contributions in Claudia's memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, TN 38105.
