He was predeceased by: his parents, Benedetto DiMichele and Giusseppina DiMichele (Cuccovia); his stepmother Lucia DiMichele; his in-laws, Mattia and Annina Palermo; and his sister-in-law Antonietta Bourque (Palermo).
He is survived by: his wife Marietta DiMichele (Palermo); his siblings, Angela Cuccovia (late Antonio), Maria Meccia (Arcangelo) and Antonio DiMichele (Antonietta); and his brother-in-law Antonio Palermo (Kathy). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Phil's honor to The American Lung Association or The Holyoke Soldiers Home.
