We are sad to announce that, on February 28, 2026, at the age of 71, Jane E. Sonak Bedard of East Longmeadow, Massachusetts passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Sonack and Lucille Sonack. She is survived by: her husband Jim; her daughters, Elise Cranson (Dave) of Sterling and Becky Bedard of Mansfield; her grandchildren, Eve, Josh and Sam; and her sisters, JoAnne Principe of Merrimack, NH and Julie Sonack of Colchester, VT..
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to either Legacy Lifecare VNA & Hospice or Baystate Health Hospice Services, organizations to which she devoted her career and that provided exceptional care and compassion in her final days, or Compassionate Care ALS, an organization who provided the family with endless resources and support during her battle with motor neuron disease.
