Jean D. Richard Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jean D. Richard of East Longmeadow, Massachusetts, born in Bronx, New York, who passed away on July 18, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Jean farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Jean is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her husband William Richard; her mother Emma T. Payne; and her sister Edith Hudson. She is survived by: her children, Debra Mailman (Paul Klekotka), William Richard (Ronda), Cynthia Sattal (Thomas), Kenn Richard (Erin Beck) and Richard; and her significant other Kitty.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Forastiere Smith Funeral and Cremation (220 N Main St, East Longmeadow, MA 01028). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial Contributions in Jeans name may be made to a charity of one's choice.
