He is survived by: his wife Karla Impionbato-Sass; his children, Julie Carroll (John) of Middlefield, Michele Jadovich (Andy) of Simsbury, Debbie Sass of West Hartford, Kimberly Sass of Windsor, Brianna Sass (Amber Pinto) of Branford and Michael Sass (Jowena); his grandchildren, Benjamin, Elizabeth, Austin, Rhyan, Cody, Tanner, Skyler and Aubrey; and his sisters, Toni Adams and Patty Zemar. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
