He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond and Geraldine (DiMatteo); and his sister Barbara McCabe. He is survived by: his wife Geraldine "Gerry" McDonald (Alberti); his children, Lauren Pope (Benjamin Pope) of Gaithersburg, MD and Darren McDonald of Boston, MA.; and his siblings, Joanne Daly (Patrick) of Melrose, MA, Susan Legere (Jim) of Newmarket, NH and John McDonald (Susan) of Wakefield, MA. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to the Arts Foundation of Cape Cod.
