He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Laranjo and Mary Laranjo (Lima); and his siblings, Frank Larango, Delfina Cunha, Mary Laranjo, Joseph Laranjo, Gerald Laranjo and Edward Laranjo.
He is survived by: his wife Lucille (Viveiros); his children, David of Taunton, MA, James of Taunton, MA, Thomas (Lisa) of Taunton, MA, Nancy (Carl Woodworth) of Mansfield, MA and Carol Mellon of Lakeland, FL; his grandchildren, Chyenne, Miranda, Jenna, Casey and Meghan; and his great grandchildren, Adrian, Mackenzie, Jazlyn, Lylah, Kai, Roman and Oaklyn. He is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
Visitation was held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Silva Funeral Home (80 Broadway, Taunton, MA 02780). A reception was held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 1:45 PM at the Gate of Cemetery (550 Wampanoag Trl, Riverside, RI 02915).
