She is survived by: her cousins, Eldna, Alfred, Jane Cary, Ruth and Marilyn; her former husband James Ballard Totten; her children, Jennifer Totten of Salisbury, Melissa Totten of Santa Fe and James Ballard Totten, Jr. (Meghan Hickey) of Brooklyn; and her grandchildren, Daisy and Jack Totten of Brooklyn.
