With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Byron Frates of East Wareham, Massachusetts, born in New Bedford, Massachusetts, who passed away on August 21, 2022 at the age of 38. He was predeceased by: his grandfathers, Ralph Lavine and Charles. He is survived by: his parents, Cheryl Knapp (Rogers) and Glenn of Wareham; his children, Patricia of Rochester and Nicholas Spillane-Frates of Rochester; his siblings, Jeffrey Lavine (Julie) of Albany, VT and Annie Andersen (Howard) of Wareham; his siblings' children, Kyle, Michael, Andrew, Leo, Joshua and Jamison; and his grandmothers, Barbara Lavine of Wareham and Frances Frates of New Bedford. He is also survived by many loving relatives and friends.
