It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eugene Smith Sr. of East Wareham, Massachusetts, born in Acushnet, Massachusetts, who passed away on September 12, 2021, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Smith and Lydia Smith (Bowman); and his child Shannon Smith. He is survived by: his wife Michelle Smith (Charette) of East Wareham; his children, Eugene T. Smith Jr. (Christine) of Westport and Hope Vary (Phillip) of Wareham; his grandchildren, Brandon (Amanda), Sarah (Jordan), Rebecca, Matthew, Julius, Ava, Elias and Makenna; his great grandchild Halle; his sister Annie Nye (Harry) of Marion; and his close friend Charlie.
