He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred J. Jones and Theresa F. Jones (Walsh); his son Eric A. Ford; and his sister Judy A. Thompson. He is survived by: his wife Patricia A. Jones (Ford); his children, James E. Jones and Lindsey Callahan; his grandchildren, Brayden, Kayleigh, Eryka, Makayla and Matthew; and his siblings, Alfred J. Jones Jr. and Carolyn "Carol" Anderson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorial gifts may be made to American Heart Association.
