He was predeceased by: his parents, Sally Dembek (Baron) and Walter B. Dembek Sr.; his wife Patricia Dembek (Shea); his daughter Cynthia Louise Dembek; and his sister Phyllis Kownacki (O'Connor).
He is survived by: his significant other Elena Iverson; his children, Colleen Allen (Rocky), Cheryl D. Kennedy and Alan Dembek; his grandchildren, Cassandra, Amanda Allen, Katelyn, Colleen Kennedy, Matthew, Andrew Simmoneau and Jessica Monahan (Nicolas); and his great grandchildren, Ru Rossi, Jeremy Rucker, Jasper, Cody Boynton, Brentley Simmoneau, Olivia, Amelia and Parker Monahan.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or to Linda Manor Extended Stay Activities Department at 349 Haydenville Road.
