He was predeceased by : his wife Catherine Heino (Foster); his parents, Emil Heino and Elma Heino (Noponen); and his siblings, Albert Buteau, Reino Heino, Nancy Barboza and Elsie Tomaski.

He is survived by : his sons, Todd Heino (Toni) of Easton and Peter Heino (Shannon) of Plymouth; and his grandchildren, Steven Heino of Easton, Devin Heino of Easton, Thomas Heino of Plymouth and Madeline Heino of Plymouth. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
