She was predeceased by: her parents, Emilia Josephine Hill of Tempere and Toivo Edwin Niemi of Karstula; and her siblings, Eino Niemi of Easton, Aili Niemi of Easton, Albert Niemi of Mansfield, Inez Cronan of Taunton, Auna Silva (Anne) of Raynham and Robert Niemi of Mansfield.
She is survived by: her children, Stephen (Debbie Turner) of Lakeville and Janet Turner of Yarmouth Port; her grandson Timothy (Brittany Turner); her great grandchild Gunnar Turner of Raeford; her granddaughter Holly Carpenter (Caleb) of Lynchburg, Virginia.; Pat Martin. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Crapo-Hathaway Funeral Home (350 Somerset Ave, Taunton, MA 02780). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Calvary Chapel of Raynham (1002 Broadway, Raynham, MA 02767). A burial will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at the Mayflower Cemetery (774 Tremont St, Duxbury, MA 02332).
