He was predeceased by: his wife Cathleen R. Walsh; and his parents, Michael J. Walsh and Mary Alice Walsh (Sullivan). He is survived by: his children, Michael of Easton, James (Suzanne) of Easton, Michele Casey (Wayne) of Easton, Shannon Hruzd (Shaun) of West Bridgewater, Colleen Rose (Douglas) of Easton and Ryan (Maura) of Medway; his grandchildren, Thomas, James, Aidan Walsh, Wayne, Daniel, Evan Casey, Colin, Michaela Hruzd, Henry, Dillon Rose, Kiernan and Kennedy Walsh; and his brothers, Joseph Walsh of Abington, Robert Walsh (Gail) of Braintree, Richard Walsh (Mary Lou) of Mashpee, Gerard Walsh (Christine) of Hernando, Brian Walsh (Laura) of Milton and Dennis Walsh (Kristi). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
