He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Iwashita and James Addison Ranes; and his grandparents, George Hayashi Iwashita and Chie Matsumoto Iwashita. He is survived by: his children, James Stuart, Megan and Michaela; his sons-in-law, Roger and David; his grandchildren, Connor, Robert, Hannah, Mackenzie, Ben, Finn and Emma; and his family Cape Cod. He is also survived by his wife, children.
