He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Bonanno and Albina Bonanno (Robiolio); and his brother Thomas. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Bonanno (Shelly); his children, Sara, Andrew (Dorinda), Jon (Kathryn) and Ted (Beth); and his grandchildren, Blakesley, Campbell, Alex, Thea, Evie, Teddy, Sammy and Ollie. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in his name to Ducks Unlimited (give.ducks.org), honoring his lifelong respect for nature and conservation, or to the Martha's Vineyard Hospital (mvhospital.org).
