He was predeceased by : his father Sam Jackson (Islanders); and his foster son Robert M. Luce. He is survived by : his mother Diane Jackson (Edgartown); his son Brian C. Gibson (Edgartown); and his siblings, Frank Gibson (Edgartown), Brenda Kennedy (Port Charlotte), Leigh Gibson (Edgartown), Sherry, James, Brown (Falmouth), Dawson, Ethan, Jackson (Yarmouth), Sheila Jackson (Edgartown), Dennis Jackson (Edgartown), Michael and Valerie. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
