He was predeceased by: his wife Filomena R. Colameta (Molle); and his siblings, Domenic, James, Peter, Joseph, Anthony, Alfred, Rocco, Romeo, Mamie, Elvira, Frank and John Colameta.
He is survived by: his children, Ray (Maryellen Colameta) of Oxford, Dennis (Carol Colameta) of Moultonborough, NH, Angela (Eric Vasquez) of Haverhill, Marianne Colameta of Everett and Cheryl (Michael Campo) of Everett; his grandchildren, Ray Jr. (Deb Colameta), Christina (Nathan Shackelford), Kerri Colameta (Darren Burley), Jaclyn Colameta (Trent Bannerman), Dennis Colameta Jr., Krista (Jerry Pollastrone Jr.), Glenn Nadeau and Cody Nadeau; his great grandchildren, Della, Nathan, Ryan, Caitlyn, Ayla and Domenic; and his pet Rosco.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 from 8:30 AM to 10:15 AM at the Salvatore Rocco & Sons Funeral Home (331 Main St, Everett, MA 02149). A Mass will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Anthony Church (46 Oakes St, Everett, MA 02149). A burial will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 at 12:30 PM at the Puritan Lawn Cemetery (185 Lake St, Peabody, MA 01960).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for memorial contributions to be made in his name to the Everett Firefighter's Relief Association.
