“I am so sorry to hear of the loss of Jimmy, He was my father, Leo's first cousin. My fondest and most valuable memory is that Jimmy encouraged me to play drums like him. I still remember him saying "Play drums and it is a good instrument to play and later play xylophone." Those words have stayed with me and definitely steered me through my teen and young adult years. So thank you Jimmy! By the way I still have the Ludwig drums I purchased in 1966 (thanks to my brother, Lenny.) Sal Gardino”
