He was predeceased by: his mother Marguerite Darling (Shaw); and his wife Barbara Darling (Petrone). He is survived by: his brother Laurence Darling (Larry) of Reading; his brother-in-law Patrick Petrone (Rick) of Everett; his close friend Judith Masucci of Winthrop; his children, JoAnne Crafts (Jim) of Everett, Kim Dell Isola (Jay) of Lynnfield and Jay Darling (Kim) of Peabody; and his grandchildren, Jake, Alex, Molly, Olivia, Emma, Jack and Joshua.
