It is with sadness that the passing of John A. Dondero Sr. of Everett, Massachusetts is shared. John, born on July 17, 1942 in Melrose, Massachusetts, passed away on October 12, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur John Dondero and Elizabeth Ferretti. He is survived by: his children, Jay Dondero (Marisa), Jacquelyn Dresser (late Timothy) and Jennifer White (Patrick); his grandchildren, Evan, Olivia, Grace Dresser, Giovanni, Valentina Dondero, Anna, Ellie White and Bella Marino; his siblings, Edward Dondero and Lorraine Ellis; and his sister-in-law Kathleen McNeil.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 19th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Immaculate Conception Church (487 Broadway, Everett, MA 02149). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 19th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in John's memory to the Pan Can Action Network, Donation Processing Center, P.O. Box 5041, Boone, Iowa, 50950 honoring his enduring spirit and generosity.
