With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley W. Ring (Everett, Massachusetts), born in Somerville, Massachusetts, who passed away on August 21, 2022. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her husband Edward Ring; her parents, Carl F. Peterson and Henrietta Peterson (Meyer); and her brother Carl Peterson. She is survived by : her children, Stephen Savarese (Deborah) of Revere and Karen Benson (late Michael) of Saugus; her stepson Richard Ring (Ellen Brennan Ring); her grandchildren, Amanda Savarese, Patrick Pisano, Paige Benson and Alison Brennan Ring; and her siblings, Alan Peterson, Linda Jordan of San Diego, CA, Elsie Russo of Las Vegas, NV, Norman Peterson, Thelma Shallah and Pauline Peterson.
