He is survived by: his siblings, Eugene Blyther (Susan) of Summerfield, FLA and Patricia Haxhi of Middlebury, CT.; his nephews, Rami, Robin, Robert, Richard, James (Jennifer) and Craig (Tracie); his brothers, Wayne Steller (Laura) of Stetson, ME and Tom Stone (Kirsten) of Woodbury, CT; and his close friends, Luz Visajel of Everett, MA and Taipei Liang of Pelham, NH..

The military honors was held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St. Joseph's Cemetery (522 Terryville Ave, Bristol, CT 06010).

“Dear Sasso Family- I am so sorry for your loss. I’m truly going to miss my friend Billy, he was one of a kind. i will cherish the memories of going to the movies, attending Red Sox vs. Yankee games at the AAA level in Pawtucket RI each year. Billy was a Yankee fan and would always give myself and other attendees of this rivalry a difficult time. 😃 Billy would organize fundraising walks for all of us at MGH. He was a kind, polite, generous, caring man. He will be missed.”
