He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred J. Vaz and Helen Vaz (Bennett). He is survived by: his wife Cheryl A. Vaz (Horton); his children, Jodi Durette (Dennis) of Attleboro and Jeffrey Vaz (Carolyn) of New Bedford; his granddaughters, Kayla Brown (David), Ashlye McMullen (Taylor) and Jessica Griswold (Matthew); his great grandchildren, Noah McMullen, Alfred Griswold-McKay, Jaxson McMullen, Emma Bemis and Waverly McMullen; and his sisters, Linda Mitchell, Kate Williams and Wendy Kosiorek. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
