With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Carol Ann Howland (Fairhaven, Massachusetts), born in Nashua, New Hampshire, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 23, 2025 at the age of 76. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Smith and Annette Smith (Cassista); and her siblings, Betty Ann May and Ronald Smith. She is survived by: her son Todd Howland (Wendy); her grandson Colby Howland; and her brother-in-law Richard May. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
