She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur McKay Smith and Mary Smith (Ravida); her children, Ricky Franklin and Lorna Ashley; and her friend Norma.
She is survived by: her children, LuAnn Franklin and Dale Franklin; her daughter-in-law Donna; and her brother John Smith. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
