He was predeceased by: his wife Phyllis Claflin (Herrick); his parents, Charles Wilson and Juliet "Romeo" Wilson; his son Charles Brett Claflin; and his siblings, Richard Claflin and Judy Tonnessen.
He is survived by: his children, Brian S. Farrington of New Bedford, Tesse Shea of New Bedford and Joey Shea of New Bedford; his brother Thomas Wilson of Fairhaven; and his daughter Kimberly McCulley. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
