She was predeceased by : her husband Claudio A. Ferreira; her parents, Manuel Furtado and Beatriz Furtado (Ferreira); and her siblings, Louis Furtado, Jaime Furtado, Manuel Furtado, Gloria Amaral, Anaria Sousa, Hilda Raposo, Jorgelina Pacheco and Guilherminia Raposo.
She is survived by : her daughters, Dalila M. Ferreira (Joseph Amaral) of Venice Florida and Lisa M. Rego (Joe Rego) of New Bedford; her siblings, John Furtado (Mary) of New Bedford and Lidia Deus of Dartmouth; her siblings-in-law, Gilberta Furtado of Freetown, Dolores Furtado of New Bedford, Abilio Pacheco of Canada and Jose Pacheco of Canada; and her grandchildren, Mathew, Sean Barbosa, Meaghan, Kristin and Austin DaPonte.
