She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph LaPlante and Florence LaPlante (Perry); and her brother Gerald LaPlante. She is survived by: her husband DJ; her sons, Raymond F. Pedro, Jr. (Lori) of West Kingston, RI, David J. Pedro of Fairhaven and Kenneth J. Pedro (Karin Hansen) of Fairhaven; her grandchildren, Tiffany Hayes, Ian, Hailey, Amanda Pedro, Benjamin and Jake Larsen; her great grandchildren, Mae, Roslin, Dakota and Blake; and her sister Jaqueline Davis. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Fairhaven Funeral Home (117 Main St, Fairhaven, MA 02719). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph's Church (74 Spring St, Fairhaven, MA 02719). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Riverside Cemetery (274 Main St, Fairhaven, MA 02719).
