With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Fournier of Fairhaven, Massachusetts, who passed away on March 19, 2026 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As James departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though James may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy James leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Henry Fournier and Mary Elizabeth Furtado (Oliveira); and his siblings, Henry Fournier and Barbara Dechaine. He is survived by: his sister Theresa Hayden of Fort Myers; and his close friend Marcia Mitchell.
