He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph A. Pires and Elizabeth Pires (Kelly). He is survived by: his children, Joy Pires Wilmouth of North Andover and Joseph Pires of Foxboro; and the mother of his children Maureen Pires. He is also survived by many cousins, extended family, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Joe's memory may be made to the Missionaries of Charity at 556 County St, New Bedford, MA 02740, an organization that was very near and dear to his heart.
