She was predeceased by : her parents, Joseph Rego and Hermina Rego (Medeiros). She is survived by : her children, Ted Sherman (Tanya) of Fairhaven and Emma Sherman (Tyler Plumb) of Boyne City, MI; her grandchildren, Wes and Meena Sherman of Fairhaven; her former life partner Ted Sherman (Diane) of Acushnet; and her aunts, Anna Rego of Fairhaven and Evelyn Lopes of Fairhaven.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, at komen.org.
