Linda (Montgomery) Tunstall Obituary

It is with sadness that the passing of Linda (Montgomery) Tunstall of Fairhaven, Massachusetts is shared. Linda, born on September 2, 1943 in Bennington, Vermont, passed away on September 15, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Linda will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around her. Friends and family will honor Linda by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence she had in their lives. Though Linda is no longer present, the bonds she created and the experiences shared will endure. Linda’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew her.

She was predeceased by: her parents, George E. Montgomery and Margaret Montgomery (Fallon); and her sister Margaret "Peggy" Montgomery. She is survived by: her husband Cuffy; her sister-in-law Sheila Tunstall McKenna (Jack) of Attleboro; her nephew Dr. John William McKenna (Dr. Melissa Parenti); her great-nephew John Liam McKenna of North Attleboro; and her cousin Judy Sasmore (Val) of Maryland.

Visitation was held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Fairhaven Funeral Home (117 Main St, Fairhaven, MA 02719). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Riverside Cemetery (274 Main St, Fairhaven, MA 02719).

In lieu of flowers donation may be made in memory of Linda Tunstall to Community Nurse Inc. 62 Center Street, Fairhaven, MA 02719 or the Fairhaven High Alumni Association, P.O.Box 6, Fairhaven, MA 02719, Linda will be remembered for her warmth, compassion, service, and devotion to family.
