She was predeceased by : her husband William R. Markey (Bill); her parents, William Bradford and Edna Eddy (Sandells); and her sisters, Anne Cormier, E. Sandra Crane Sinioris and Carolyn Mitchell.

She is survived by : her children, William B. Markey (Jacqueline) of New Bedford, Raymond Markey (Michelle) of Douglas, David Markey (Karen) of Fairhaven and Meredith Simas (Steven) of Lakeville; and her brother-in-law Thomas Mitchell of Maryland. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter.
