It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Olivia Medeiros of Fairhaven, Massachusetts, who passed away on July 20, 2025, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Marcelino Félix Medeiros; and her children, Liduina Rodrigues (late Michael), Roberto of Medeiros and Alda Amaro Medeiros (Yugi) of YarmouthPort, MA. She is survived by: her children, Jorge Medeiros (Liduina) of Myrtle Beach, SC, João Medeiros (Elisabete) of Melbourne, FL, Lina Silveira (Jorge) of Fairhaven, MA, Dorvalino of Medeiros, Mirelia Furtado (late Manel) of Fairhaven, MA, Daniel Medeiros (Wendy) of New Bedford, MA, Viviana Gomes of New Bedford, MA and Guilhermo Luis of Medeiros; and her grandchildren, Elizabeth Medeiros-Horne, Fabiano Medeiros, Victoria Medeiros, Jane O'Shea, Melinda Medeiros, Jayline, Selena Medeiros, Jenny Medeiros, Marina Araujo, Bryan Silveira, Sheena, Hayato, Hiroto Watanabe, Sonya Robert, Kyle Furtado, Kinski Medeiros, Kailyne, Kamrin Andrade, Juan Romero, Thalia Romero, Adam Gomes, Shane Medeiros, Amanda, Mirelia Rodrigues, Jacquelyne of Medeiros, Michael, Samantha and Sarena of Medeiros.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM at the Fairhaven Funeral Home (117 Main St, Fairhaven, MA 02719). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church (230 Bonney St, New Bedford, MA 02744). A burial will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at the St. John's Cemetery (664 Allen St, New Bedford, MA 02740).
