He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Almeida and Fannie Almeida (Dutra). He is survived by: his wife Theresa A. "Terry" Almeida (Carvalho); his daughters, Gina Almeida of Edmonton, Kimberly Pettee (Robert Pettee, Jr.) of Fairhaven and Brandi Spicer (Bryan) of Fairhaven; his stepchildren, Koby Verran (Christy) of Westport, Jodie Maitoza (Raymond) of Dartmouth and Lisa Furtado (Paul) of Dartmouth; his grandchildren, Jordin Raposo, Devyn Raposo, Robert Pettee III and Vann Spicer; and his stepgrandchildren, Alyssa Maitoza, Andrew Maitoza, Hannah Furtado and Matthew Furtado.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 16th 2026 from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Aubertine-Lopes Funeral Home (129 Allen St, New Bedford, MA 02740). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, November 16th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary Church South Dartmouth (783 Dartmouth St, South Dartmouth, MA 02748).
