He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Tyson and Leonora Tyson (DeMello); his former wife Sandra L. Tyson (Ingram); and his brothers, Timothy Tyson and Alan Tyson.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Tyson (Cullivan); his children, Daniel Tyson (Kendra), Kelly Mello (Jason), Donna Faucher (Brian), Beth Tyson and Matthew Soares (April); his sister Judy Bernier (Henry); his cousin Fred Jackson (Jeannette); his sisters-in-law, Donna Tyson and Pat Tyson; and his grandchildren, Jack, Alyssa, Nick, Nathan, Cody, Connor, Ryan, Gabriel, Emma and Ellana. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
